R&B has long been a love-fueled genre, and the feeling was electrified over Mother's Day Weekend. The RnB Soul Picnic at Atlanta's Westside Park gathered over 10,000 R&B music enthusiasts to celebrate mothers and the community that stems from that foundation. Of course, they brought a bevy of special guests and sponsors (including EDITION by Modern Luxury) to ring in the joyous occasion.
The event, which took place throughout the entire weekend (May 11-12), included Porsha Williams, DJ Envy, Bryan-Michael Cox, CeeLo Green and Kid Capri.

Williams served as Saturday's guest host while CeeLo Green (who also curated a set with his tour DJ) took over the park grounds on Sunday. With special sets by renowned DJs such as ATL's own Bryan-Michael Cox, NYC's own Kid Capri, the incomparable DJ Trauma (known for his collaborations with Dave Chappelle and his ties to CAU), DJ Envy from the Breakfast Club and more, attendees were treated to a diverse array of sounds that touched every decade of R&B.

The full DJ lineup included: Envy, Bryan-Michael Cox, Tephlon, Traci Steele, Mars, SNS, Stormy Monroe, DJ Nasty 305, Tron, Bowtie DJ, Queen of Spades, DSA, Kid Capri, Princess Cut, Trauma, Reese, PNut, Yung Fro, and J Smoov.

What makes the RnB Picnic unique is that its mission goes beyond music. The event also prides itself of providing a platform for mental health advocacy. Partnering with Shanti Das's "Silence the Shame" and Dr. Marcus Green of New Beginnings Today, the RnB Soul Picnic aimed to destigmatize mental health issues and foster open conversations.

One of the weekend's notable highlights was the generous contribution from York Promotions, who donated $5000 to Silence the Shame, further bolstering efforts to support mental health initiatives.
