Cardi B and her team aced the Met Gala 2023 theme of the exhibit "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty." The hip-hop and rap music artist portrayed Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel with her look from head-to-toe in various creative ways.

Cardi B discusses her entire look with the seasoned and flawless Met Gala red carpet host La La Anthony, "Ching Peng is the designer...If you see the texture of this skirt it's giving the Chanel Boy Bag."

Covered in large three-dimensional flowers resembling the signature Camellia flowers repeatedly incorporated in Chanel designs throughout time, the details of the dress pay homage to the classic and impressionable pieces that continue to create history and drive the direction of fashion from the couture house.

"Up here it's giving Karl,” Cardi B continues, gesturing to her silver-white hair. "I was curious to see how people [were] going to rock his designs because everyone has their own interpretations of his looks," Card B mentions to Anthony before the two drop off the mic for a personal chat.
