Lous and the Yakuza courageously challenges the music and fashion industries with her thought-provoking songs and as a Louis Vuitton and YSL Beauté brand ambassador. And of course, EDITION had to celebrate this major milestone by having the musician and model grace the cover of our Summer "Music" issue.

“[I do this] because of the powerful message of having a Black, dark-skinned woman on a billboard. If I can contribute to putting people who look like me out there, I feel like I’ve done something,” Lous and the Yakuza says.

The Summer Issue centers on musicians and music aficionados alike, who all use the power of sound to motivate their daily lives.
