J. Cole Announces Dreamville Festival 2022 Lineup: Wale, Ari Lennox, Rico Nasty, & More
Attention, dreamers! Grammy Award-winning rapper and activist J. Cole has announced this year’s lineup for Dreamville Festival. The event will make its highly anticipated return April 2-3, 2022, at the Dorothea Dix Park in J. Cole’s hometown, Raleigh, North Carolina. And, of course, he is bringing his friends along for the ride. Among the artists slated to perform are Lil Baby, WizKid, Kehlani, Moneybagg Yo, Bia, Morray, Wale, Rico Nasty, Fivio Foreign, Larry June, and more.
Dreamville is bringing the heat this year with exclusive performances by DJ Drama featuring Lil Wayne, Jeezy, and T.I., and a special on-stage reunion between Ja Rule and Ashanti. As the headliner, J. Cole himself will close out the festival.

Since its inception in 2020, Dreamville Festival has focused on highlighting hip-hop culture through established artists while allowing upcoming acts to make their first festival appearance. The debut Dreamville Festival sold out within days of its announcement. It continues to be one of the largest artist-run music festivals in the country. In addition, the festival celebrates culture, food, art, and diversity and, in return, has generated millions of dollars for North Carolina.
Along with marking the return of the Dreamville Festival, the two-day event will bring together the artists of Dreamville Records. Some Dreamville label artists set to perform are Ari Lennox, Bas, J.I.D, EarthGang, Cozz, Omen, and Charlotte, North Carolina native Lute.
Being an important figure in North Carolina, J.Cole is known for his humanitarian efforts and activism. Therefore, a portion of the revenue generated from the Dreamville Festival will be donated to the event’s charity partners, the Dreamville Foundation and Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy.
