Martell—one of the most esteemed cognac maisons in the world—is known for its refined takes on the liquid gold. Blue Swift, one of the brand’s smoothest selections, just got even more elevated thanks to an artful collaboration.

Martell Blue Swift paired with artist Dr. Fahamu Pecou for the new Martell Blue Swift Rhythm Gift Set. Through his “New Black Renaissance” initiative, Pecou challenges the often archaic norms of the contemporary art world by injecting soul and vibrancy into his artwork. Naturally, his designs for the gift set reflect his mantra. The artist was inspired by how Martell Blue Swift brings together two traditions: French VSOP cognac and American bourbon. His unique diptych, titled “The Rhythm”, thus came to life. Drawing parallels between Blue Swift being a “beautiful example of the rhythm of creating” and the harmony of music, the diptych features the cognac Maison's emblem (which Blue Swift was named after), a painting of Pecou himself and various music-inspired iconography.

The gift set’s designs capture the freedom in both Pecou’s work and the mission of Martell Blue Swift. It includes two rocks glasses and a limited-edition bottle of Martell Blue Swift and the QR code that links to a Martell Holiday Hub experience and a “vibe check” quiz that recommends bespoke seasonal cocktails, hosting tips and music playlists.
