Simon & Schuster Partners with the McBride Sisters On Black Girl Magic Wine and Book Club
Last week, publisher Simon & Schuster and wine company McBride Sisters Collection announced the launch of their 2022 Black Girl Magic Wine and Book Club. This partnership delivers highly anticipated and revolutionary reads paired with the perfect wine to set the mood.
This year's book club, an expansion of Simon & Schuster and the McBride Sisters' previous partnerships piloted in 2021, is bringing you four new books with bottles to match. Members will receive each book with two bottles of Mcbride Sisters Collection wine, complimentary ground shipping, an invitation to an online event, and access to exclusive club benefits and giveaways through the online community.

Their first selection, available now, is Black Joy: Stories of Resistance, Resilience, and Restoration by Tracey Michae’l Lewis-Giggetts. This piece is paired with the McBride Sisters’ Sparkling Brut and Magic Zinfandel and accompanied by a virtual conversation featuring the McBride sisters and Lewis-Giggets.
The second selection, slated for later this spring, is Speak by Tunde Oyenein, one of the most sought-after Peloton and fitness instructors, motivational speaker, and founder of the Instagram Live series, S.P.E.A.K.
“We are excited to level up our Book Club for 2022 and bring even more magic to our loyal customers and readers,” Robin McBride stated in a press release. “I cannot wait to share the amazing books we have planned for this year with our community. We are giving Book Club fanatics a reason to say cheers to a new year.”
The McBride sisters lead by example in cultivating meaningful and magical connections through McBride Sisters Collection, the largest Black-owned wine company in the world. Each of their collections is inspired by facets of their personal lives. The Black Girl Magic Collection specifically serves as an ode to Andréa and Robin’s relationship as sisters and is inspired by cultural resilience.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up again with the McBride Sisters to build on the success of our partnership in 2021,” stated Sienna Farris, VP of Multicultural Marketing for Simon & Schuster.
“The Black Girl Magic Wine & Book Club is a fantastic opportunity to support Black-owned businesses and Black voices simultaneously.”
